Najah Hull

ADMIN & BOOKKEEPING ASSISTANT
Najah was born and raised in Seattle’s heart, the Central District. She is an active champion of the missions for a myriad of community organizations that support and promote the advancement of Black people. Over the past 20+ years she has developed her professional career in finance and accounting, finding passion in the finite features of numbers, coupled with the responsible use of fiscal resources and maximizing their benefits through investing and long-term financial planning. Quite naturally, she stands on principle, integrity, and accountability.  

As a Sociology graduate from the University of Washington and a single mother of six (Albert, Selah, Leah, Cecily, Jacquim and her fur baby, Sir Niles Garrick), Najah has mastered many transferable skills that she is eager to put into action at Tubman Health! 
  • Superpower: Intuition, Observation & Determination.
  • Kryptonite: Insomnia! Sleep has successfully evaded me for eons.
  • Known on the streets for: Companionless travel to international destinations, a good belly laugh, and (for the privileged), adrenaline inducing rides to everyday places! 
  • When not at work: I can be found sittin’ up in my room, making plans for new destinations by road, rail, air or sea. During the more pleasant months, catch me outside, hiking, strolling, tide-pooling or camping at somebody’s campout, somewhere! 
  • I identify as: A REBEL. A multifaceted, unapologetic Black woman who is also an adventurer, advocate, activist, believer, creative, disrupter, eccentric, eclectic, empath, empress, enigma, galvanizer, fearless, innovator, intellectual, introspective, jane of all trades, master of some, naturalist, optimist, photographer, poet, realist, skeptic, truth-seeker, wanderer, wordsmith and a proud weirdo! 
  • I dedicate my time at the Tubman Center for Health and Freedom to: All my sistas and brothas and their babies. To the forward advancement of high-quality healthcare for my community and others marginalized by the same disparaging experiences in Washington State.
